Evolution From Human to Dog
Srila Prabhupäda. The so-called scientists are putting their faith in a fraudulent theory. Krsna says, aham sarvasya prabhavah: “I am the origin of everything.” (Bg. 10.8) Krsna is life; Krsna is not a dead stone.
Dr. Singh. So matter is caused by life?

Previously there was also birthright, but one was actually known according to his behavior. If a man was born in a brähmana family or a ksatriya [administrative or military] family, he had to behave like a brähmana or ksatriya. And it was the king’s duty to see that no one was falsely representing himself. In other words, respectability was awarded according to culture and education. But nowadays, vittam eva kalau nrinäm: if you get money somehow or other, then everything is available. You may be a third-class or a fourth-class or a tenth-class man, but if you get money somehow or other, then you are very much respected. Kite-flying, there is that reel? What is called? No, you have no experience. So You can fly. The kite goes very high and high. In India kite-flying is very popular sport. So you can allow the kite go and go, very high, and at the same time you can bring it near and nearer by that wheel. So this wheel, this human form of body, is meant for not prolonging the unclean material life, but now stop it. Now stop it. It is meant for that purpose. Therefore in the Vedanta-sutra it is said, athato brahma-jijnasa: "Now inquire about... Sit down about... Sit down quietly and inquire about the necessity or the aim of life." That is explained in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, jivasya tattva jijnasa nartho yas ceha karmabhih, kamasya nendriya-pritih. Kamasya nendriya, kama. Here it is called kama. Kama means lust. So because we have got this body, therefore we must have some kama. That is a fact. You cannot avoid it. Srila Prabhupäda: No, bhakti. When we speak of bhakti, mukti [liberation from material miseries] is included. Without bhakti there is no mukti, but if we act on the platform of bhakti, then mukti is included. We learn this from the Bhagavad-gitä (14.26):
mäm ca yo ’vyabhicärena
bhakti-yogena sevate
sa gunän samatityaitän
brahma-bhüyäya kalpate
“One who engages in full devotional service, who does not fall down under any circumstance, at once transcends the modes of material nature and thus comes to the level of Brahman.”
Father Emmanuel: Is Brahman Krsna?
Srila Prabhupäda: Krsna is Parabrahman. Brahman is realized in three aspects: as impersonal Brahman, as localized Paramätmä, and as personal Brahman.
